Oh Bother. You Have Waited Long Enough.

To: Fat Tested Travel - Jason Vaughn >
Hi Jason,
Disney was one of my favorite trips as a child! For years my family had been asking to go back but I was so intimidated because in the winter of 2019 I did not fit on a rollercoaster and was shocked and embarrassed. I had made up every excuse in the world not to go to Disney or any theme park for that matter. I found you on TikTok, and I finally felt like I had a place at Disney world as a plus sized woman. Your guide has given me such peace and I cannot wait for our trip in February!
So, thank you!!!!! Thank you for being vulnerable online and sharing your experience so that folks like me feel that they belong! You really are inspiring and impacting so many.

RE: The trip you keep putting off
I did not set foot in a theme park for over twenty years.
Not because I could not go. Because fear told me I could not.
The fear of not fitting. The fear of the stares. The fear of getting asked to climb off a ride in front of a full line of people. The fear of being the reason my family had a worse day. The fear of being the biggest person in the park and feeling like every single person noticed.
So I told myself the same thing millions of plus size people tell themselves every day.
When I lose the weight, I will go.
I never lost the weight. And the years kept passing me by.
After the pandemic I was the heaviest I had ever been. Depressed. Stuck. Watching the world go by through a window.
Then I found a video of a plus size woman calmly walking through Disney World, showing exactly what fit and what did not. And a little door cracked open. I thought, if she can do this, maybe I can too.
I had a trip to Fort Lauderdale already planned. I decided to detour through Orlando. I drove, because I was not ready to ask for a seatbelt extender on a plane yet. And I went to Animal Kingdom.
That is where I faced it. Expedition Everest.
I got in. I pulled the bar down. I waited for the cast member to tell me to get off.
He checked the bar. He nodded. He moved right along.
I gasped. And then I smiled.
I had spent twenty years afraid of something that turned out to be completely fine.
That was the moment Fat Tested Travel was born. Not as a business. As a mission. Because if I wasted two decades being afraid for no reason, I knew there were thousands of people sitting at home right now making the exact same mistake.
So I went everywhere. Disney World. Universal. Dollywood. Epic Universe. SeaWorld. Busch Gardens. Legoland. Carowinds. Hersheypark. Kennywood. Holiday World. And more. I sat in the seats. I pulled down the bars. I tested the rides. And I wrote all of it down at 350+ lbs. so you would never have to find out the hard way, at the front of the line, with everyone watching.
That is what this Library is.
This is for you if:
You have been planning a trip to Disney, Universal, or Dollywood for longer than you want to admit, and something keeps stopping you.
You have made it to the front of a ride line and either walked away before you found out, or stayed and had the most embarrassing moment of your whole trip.
You are traveling with kids or family who want to ride everything, and you are already rehearsing the speech about why you might sit some out.
You are tired of Googling plus size theme park tips and getting the same generic junk that never actually answers the question you are really asking.
You just want to go, and have a good day, and stop spending the whole trip stuck inside your own head.

For every park in the Library you get:
A real ride by ride breakdown of what to expect before you ever get in line. Not guesses. Not somebody's forum post from 2019. Tested information from a guy who actually showed up and sat down.
Color coded comfort ratings so you can scan a whole park in about a minute and know what is a yes, what is a maybe, and what you might skip. No more standing at the ride entrance trying to figure it out while the line builds behind you.
Seat and restraint notes so you know which seat to ask for, whether an extender exists, and exactly what to say to the ride operator if you need a second.
Fit tips for the rides that need a little extra thought. Sometimes it is the row you pick. Sometimes it is how you sit. Sometimes it is just knowing the ride is there.
Thrill level sorting so you can build your day around what you actually want to do, instead of what you are hoping you can squeeze into.
Height and family notes so if you have got kids with you, the whole day is planned with no surprises for anyone.

Hi Jason!! I just wanted to tell you that I went to Disney for the first time this past weekend with my husband. Being plus size, I was super nervous to ride any of the rides. But I found your account and it was so relieving to watch your videos to know ahead of time if I would be good or not. Thanks for creating these videos and for yourlove of Disney!
THANK YOU FOR EXISTING! Being plus size and thinking ahead for my children and just the absolute fear that I wouldn't be able to ride rides with them just created some self hate while I'm trying to lose weight, but your channel came through on Facebook and it just gives me comfort! So I just wanted to thank you for creating this and being awesome!!!!
First off let me say that I absolutely adore your content! I am a die hard Disney adult and my husband has never been so we decided to go this new year for a week to celebrate our honeymoon. At first I was terrified that I wasn't going to be able to enjoy all the rides or that my husband and I would be unable to fit together on the rides. We are both about 300 pounds around 5'6 ish and so I was hesitant. I watched your videos for months in preparation and we fit on everything and it was incredible. Universal was a different story but still your videos prepared us for that scenario and I can't thank you enough. Your content is changing lives and I love it so much! Thank you for making our honeymoon a reality
I just found your videos and I needed to know this stuff. I'm always worried that I can't enjoy stuff because I'm fat. I used to do rides a lot as a kid, but then I got too physically fat to ride my favorite rides. It happened for the first time in 2021 I cried my eyes out. I love
rides and I want to know what I can do comfortably. Thank you for sharing.
Hey you. Thank you for your wonderful content. I've yo-yoed with my weight my whole life. I've been a skinny mom and a fat mom. Now that my kids are old enough to make memories at Disneyland (10 and 14, in so cal) I am desperate to take them and let them experience the things that I did. If I hadn't found your videos, I wouldn't have hope..thank you doesn't even cover it! You're an incredible guy!

Download the Library. Use it on your trip.
If you honestly feel like it did not give you the confidence and the answers I promised, email me at info@fattestedtravel.com within 12 months and I will make it right.
I have never had to. But you should know the promise is there before you spend a dollar.

P.S. This is the only theme park guide library of its kind, built specifically for plus size travelers, by someone who actually went to every park and sat in every seat. Not an AI. Not a committee.
One guy at 350+ lbs. who wanted you to be able to walk in ready.
P.P.S. Here is the thing I wish somebody had told me twenty years ago. You do not have to earn this. You do not have to lose the weight first. You do not have to wait until you are smaller to go have the time of your life.
Not everything will fit, and that is okay. There is always another ride around the corner. Happiness comes in all sizes. And so do people. Let me help you go.
