Fat Tested Travel Group Cruise

Two nights on Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. Come as you are.

My first cruise ever was Margaritaville at Sea. People told me it was the worst cruise out there. I loved it. Now I am taking a group, and I am on board with you.

  • Mar 5 to 7, 2027
  • 2 nights
  • Round trip Palm Beach
  • Freeport, Grand Bahama

Honest fit check

Is this the sailing for you?

Nobody puts this in a brochure. I would rather tell you now than take a booking that is wrong for you.

✓Right for

  • First timers who want to try cruising for one weekend.
  • Floridians who can drive to the port or ride the Brightline.
  • Anyone who wants a relaxed, friendly crowd more than a giant ship with something always going on.

✕Wrong for

  • Anyone who wants the newest, fanciest ship. This is the oldest ship sailing out of the United States. It is not for anyone bougie.
  • Anyone flying in. Two nights is not worth the flight.

Want more ship and more nights? Ask me about the other 2027 group cruises. Utopia of the Seas is three nights from Port Canaveral.

How pricing works

Under $500 a person, all in.

That includes taxes, fees and gratuities. Prices still move until you book, so tell me who is coming and I will price your exact party.

  1. Tell me about your party. Who is sailing, and the kind of stateroom you want.
  2. I quote it live. Your price, your deposit, and your final payment date for that stateroom.
  3. You decide. No pressure. If it is not the right fit, I will tell you which sailing is.
Booking with me

What you get when you sail with the group

A plus size travel agent

Ask me the fit, seating, and accessibility questions before you sail. That is the whole reason I do this.

A pre-trip rundown

Before we sail, every stateroom gets the details: your check-in date, port arrival time, and the documents you need for the Bahamas.

A hotel night, added for you

Coming from farther away? I can book a hotel near the port the night before so boarding day is easy.

A group to sail with

On our first group cruise, I watched how fast a group of strangers turned into a table that saved each other seats at dinner. You will not be cruising alone.

Jason Vaughn of Fat Tested Travel
Your host

Hi, I'm Jason.

I have fat tested more than 40 theme parks and built guides for plus size travelers who want to know what fits before they go. I moved to Orlando to go all in, and I plan Disney, Universal, cruises, and all-inclusive trips.

Our first group cruise sailed out of Tampa in October. It went so well that I put six group trips on the calendar for 2027, and this is one of them.

Good questions

Before you ask

Is there a deposit to join the group?

Not to ask. When you are ready to book, I will tell you the exact deposit and your final payment date when I quote it.

Is there a group rate?

Yes. The group has its own block on this sailing. Prices can still change until you book, so I quote your party live.

Do I need a passport?

A passport is the easiest option. This is a round trip sailing from Palm Beach, and U.S. citizens can generally use a birth certificate with a photo ID instead. I go over documents with every stateroom before we sail.

Do I have to be plus size to come?

No. Everybody is welcome. Come as you are.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, kids can sail. The crowd leans adult and laid back, so tell me about your family and I will be honest about the fit.

Can I take the Brightline?

Brightline stops in West Palm Beach, a short ride from the port. Tell me when I reply and I will help you plan it.

How fast will I hear back?

Within 24 hours, from me personally. You will also get an email right away confirming I have your request.
